George Burgess - Back 2 Bradford

There is a lot of rumours over here that Big George is coming back to Bradford.

I cant see it myself.

Does anyone over there know how he is getting on and playing for the feeder team / reserves??

First I have heard of it,but would not be surprised.Burgess would definately go back a better player.

I agree he would come back a better player. Back in the 96 we sent Jamie Peacock down under to a team for 12months and he came back and has gone on to be a great player.

But, Peacock was retained as a Bull. Burgess was sold to the rabbitohs.

How has he been doing down under. Has he been going well or have the bright lights of Sydney affected him.

Will he make the first team at Souths?

George has really improved this year playing for Norths. He is a massive kid and is now learning to use his size to dominate players. He does need to control his aggression though. He was suspended and sent off the other week for an elbow to a kicker. I can see him playing first grade here before the year is out should there be injuries. If he were to stay here he would see first grade next year and be ready. He seems to really love it down here and looks quite settled.
