George Piggins on Australian Story...

Did anyone watch this last night? What did everyone think? I thought it was a great portrayal of the man and all he has done. He really typifies the average league supporter: passionate and determined, without always being an 'intellectual genius'...He has had quite an interesting history, i know that not all that glitters is gold with him, but the show last night really illustrated the passion of league and why it has the potential to become no.1 in Australia again....
I did think the portrayal of Moffett was a bit harsh as well. They showed him in an isolated snippet where he gloated about only having 14 teams. They didn't show him attending souths game or highlighting the fact that he had nothing to do with the exclusion of souths.....I thought it was a tad rough, he had a bit of an 'anti-league' ABC feel to it...
While im on the ABC, did anyone watch Blue murder a couple of nights ago?? Very interesting, the portrayal of Roger Rogerson was remarkable given that he only ended up getting charged on a trivial crime and was aquitted of all the other stuff in the movie....
