I haven't really been following the Vulcans so far this year, but has Kirk been playing centre most of the time or just this game? It just seems a bit strange that he wouldn't be playing fullback when he's presumably the back-up for Lance. Or is Ioane a real gun?

Ioane is having a huge impact at FB. Aiden seems to be lacking confidence at the
moment, but he was put into the second row !! last week and went extremely well.

TBH not terribly interested in the Vulcans...

Geez that Russel Packer is in a class of his own.

pretty sad with the talent running around in the Vulcans and the NSW Cup, because the game coverage isn't on tv, the interest is lost.

Yeah.....he did, but he's playing in his grade mate, where he goes extremely
well, as do most of the guys. Doesn't mean they're ready for top side.

For the very vast majority, the top two inches are not quite right yet.

You have to remember that when these youngsters get the call up, they are
playing against seasoned campaigners like Steve Price, Darren Lockyer,
Hindy etc. They have these young blokes for breaky.

Young Walker had a huge game for the Tits today...but I'll bet he's not in
firsts anytime soon.

I've been a Fai knocker, but I think he is slowly coming good, just needs
another year.....and some good coaching/advice.

from iro ?

I was actually thinking, at another club.

Happy to be flamed, but he needs to get into a much more professional
environment than he is in at the mo.

The Warriors (read John Ackland) seem to be playing extremely silly buggers
at the moment with the young fellas. Watched a very talented U20 player
yesterday play for Mt Albert in the Fox grading round. This young bloke is
a walk up start for Toyota Cup, but he wasn't "allowed" to play for the
Vulcans.........
