My assumptions may have been wrong Fibroman, but when you announce the arrival of someone who is posting from the same ISP as you and arrives shortly after your announcement, it's not difficult to understand why one would assume you were one and the same.

Regardless of the fact of whether you are indeed the same person or not, the above post was deleted because of the nature of the content - which is against the policy of this website.

Perhaps to delete sensible/intelligent/humorous posts by westies, and leave stupid/simple name calling garbage by yuppies on the site?

The guidelines are posted on this website and were something you agreed to when registering on this site. They are available for you to read at any time, should you need to.

Regardless of whether the post that I deleted was an attempt at humour or not, it was of a threatening nature and therefore against the policy of this website. I'm not an advocate of deleting posts and do so very rarely and, it's never personal. I couldn't give a flying rats arsehole where anyone was from. My moderation of this forum is based purely on the moderators guidelines, not what team they support. Time to get rid of the chip on your shoulder, no matter how many bites you get because of it. But then, of course, you wouldn't have anything to report back to the mother ship.

Bounceboy actually rang me and told me what he had posted. I fully expected it to be edited/deleted. I can assure you it would have only been in jest, as I know bounceboy quite well. I am actually quite surprised that many posts remain on this site, unedited. That is why I posted a friendly reminder regarding civil litigation. Even though I did receive a PM in respect to that particular post as someone/persons believed that post to be a threat of some kind. People that know me, know that I don't make threats, I just do. That's what keeps people on their toes. Anyone that perceived that particular post as a threat needs to take and bex and have a good lie down. Either that, or look up the definition of the word ' threat' in the dictionary. :roll:
