Big announcement by GFW that their presentation of NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom event in January will be announced by Jim Ross at ringside. No word on who is doing colour commentary.

Appears to have taken a step forward. May or July tapings depending who you listen to. Both confirmed for Vegas which is where "NWA From Hollywood" comes out of.

Interesting times ahead.

Quinn Ojinaka

Better known as Moose from Ring of Honor and the independents for those wondering.

"Who?"

Basically he's a really green heavyweight with one of the best entrances, a posse and a fairly clean record. He's somebody you'd expect to see in NXT than ROH so he stands out and the fans have warmed to him better than expected.

Not a bad first up announcement from Global Force. Now they need a guy like Alberto, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles or Rey Mysterio to really get heads turning and supplement the rest of the card with up and coming guys like Trevor Lee to really turn heads.

Sonnen.

That's a great get. If they can pair them with Mauro Ranallo, they'll have themselves a good team.

I was most interested in their mention last year of "partnering" with wrestling companies around the world.

I'm keen to see what that pans out as (particularly as it relates to NZ):
- local wrestlers getting call ups to internationally viewed shows?
- local promotions events featuring international GFW wrestlers?
- local promotions events (with or without big name wrestlers) being able to be viewed internationally?
- additonal budget to local promotions to achieve any of the above?

Decent looking initial roster signings. I'd imagine we'll see some bigger name guys announced closer to the debut.

Smith/Hoyt could be a great team.
Be interesting to see how they wil use PJ Black

Some more names for GFW:

- The Young Bucks
- Cliff Compton
- Brodus Clay (interesting since he is supposedly under contract with TNA)
- Sonjay Dutt
- Chase Stevens
- Cassidy Reily
- Luke Hawx
- Jamin Olivencia
- The Heavenly Bodies
- Jigsaw

i thought he was given a release to join the ufc??? :?
That was said before he signed with UFC. And CM Punk wasn't released, he was fired.
why won't he come back to the wwe??? :(
Because WWE would only take him back if he would work a full time schedule, which at 46 Angle wasn't prepared to do.

GFW has announced they will have 4 champions crowned at their first set of tapings. I'm assuming they will be:

- Heavyweight
- Light Heavyweight / Cruiserweight
- Tag Team
- Women's

yet they allow lesnar to only appear once a month, if that

They've also worked out similar short-term deals with Jericho and RVD, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

The bigger issue is his injury history and the fact he quit rather than follow Wellness rules.
