Our Forwards did quite well on the weekend i must say.. At the begining of the year many a topic stated everyone's concern's about our lack of size or depth in those positions, and with payten's injury and boof being sidline early in the year our concerns became a reality, but now thatboof and payten are both back on board and gibbs showing the talents he posess during their layoff i don't think there are too many that are concerned at this point.
on the weekend we saw what hard hitting attacking props and second rowers can do. There is still a need for buckets and satts in the team as they have leadership and defensive qualities that the other forwards lack at this point in time, but the impact all the forwards had was quite satisfying

i am still concerned,because the fact is if we were to lose skando and either payten or boof we are back to where we started.

there is a huge gap to the rest at this stage.

my one wish is that all 3 make it through to the end of the season.

I also think the weekends go-forward could be put down to poor defense. NZ gave us a lot of space. It is difficult to assess whether or not that is due to our domination or a poor performance by the opposition, but I think we were certainly helped out by poor commitment from the warriors. There is no doubt about boof imrpoving this forward pack though. It really has made us a much much better pack and seems to have lifted skando to better performances as well. They are at the very least a competitive pack each week, which has shown up in the space the backs are getting these days.

Get real . Skando has been our best forward year in year out regardless of how well any player has played around him
