The Rabbits had 6 forwards who made close to or more than 100m. We had 1.

Joe Williams also played well today when he hadn't done so for ages. I wonder if that's a coincidence.

As Laurie Daley just said - Souths haven't had a forward pack that can dominate through the middle. This year they do. Amazing isn't it. Joey is a decent halfback but with space to move he had a huge game.

Good call. I have always rated Joe Williams. But the reason he went so well 2nite was because of the Go Forward. Give any half a some decent space and they will kill.

I frea for us on Sunday. It could get ugly unless our forwards grow a heart.

look I'd be lying if I said I was confident on sunday, I don't think we have the firepower [excuse the pun] to match these blokes.

Be interesting to see how the Rabbits backup though with the short turn around...
The heavy field in the rain and the reduced recovery time the bunnies will have does count in our favour.
Of course if we don't improve our play significantly compared to Saturday it won't help, but if we play like we know our team can play we can win.

Teuesday to Sunday isn't too bad and its early days yet so no team has played lots of football. Hopefully a few of our forwards watched......

BTW the extra two years for Asotasi may have been worth it

They would have been worth it IMO, every time the Bunnies need a big hit up Roy was there with his hand up. I just hope a few of our boys watched the game. If Timmy and Finch ever get that much room to move look out.

Rowdy and I spoke to a VERY HAPPY Dean Widders after the game.
I asked him to go easy on us next week and he said "Oh Yea sure.... Do you think i will?" :(

We wanted to wait for JT but had to leave, but we passed Deano again and asked him to pass on our congratulations to Coach.
Dean said: "Yea ok i will... Better yet, i'll wait til after next weekend, then i congratulate him for both games for you girls..!!" We yelled at him! and continued to walk away and he called out to us "It'll be close! 30 or 40 points in it!!"

The sad part is that, if we play like we played and they play like they played there will be 30 or 40 points in it :(
