Although I feel a slight uneasiness in saying so, I am feeling a real connection with the Tigpies this year... 8-[

As a supporter of a club that has copped as much of a hammering from the 'experts' as you guys, I derive great inspiration from watching the performances that have been produced by both teams. The humble pie currently being gorged on by our 'expert' friends must never have tasted so bitter.

I know, I know, early in the season and all that, but I'll revel while I can. Hopefully we can pluck the Chooks while you destroy the Warriors - hell, I'm even going to support Manly and the Sharks in the hope that we're all sitting in the top five!

I hardly think the tigers deserve the underdog status.
They just took apart the bulldogs, we beat souths.
We haven't won back-to-back games in about 5 seasons.

my worry is, that as much as i love the tiges....we rise to the big games (the last 2 weeks for eg) then when we come across a team we should beat (say, the warriors) we fold and make stupid mistakes.

In continuing the spirit I held when starting this thread, I'd like to congratulate you blokes on what looks to be a certain start in the finals this year.

Its great to see the underdogs giving it to the NRL 'Wonderteams'. You've got the makings of an excellent side, and with the results we've seen in this competition so far this year, anything can happen.

This weekend we'll be happy to provide you with the 'loss that everyone needs' before heading into a finals series.
