Nothing would be better than a strong International setup.
The Ashes should be the pinnacle of test football and it is upto the Poms to get there.
Hopefully the French and Kiwis can fully compete in the near future.

I agree with the content but not the thread title! Can never support the Poms. I'd love them to be competitive but I don't see them getting close to winning this

Their last best hope was in 2017 in the World Cup final - with all the Burgesses, Widdop, James Graham, plus Wayne Bennett as coach. This English team isn't close to that. On that night they were one miraculous ankle tap (by Josh Dugan) away from tying that game up at the death.

Will this game have the 6 agains rule? If not it may help the English slightly but I doubt they will win.

Don't forget the best team in the NRL the last 5 years in Penrith have not won a club championship game against the poms.
