C`mon someone, say it! Nathan Cayless had a terrific game last night! Best I`ve seen from him in a while. Very strong runs. If we can eventually get him and another forward (perhaps Tim Mannah? Definitely not Fui - he`s way too loose) to off-load after a charging run, we will be a team to be reckoned with.

It wasn't only the goal line defence that was impressive, defence in general, they had great line speed and got up quick in the rabbits faces and shut them down well.

Also from the restarts, it was awesome to see parra make the 1st tackle 5m out from souths own line, the chase was awesome.

Definitely an improvement in defence in general ...but the biggest criticism of them over the last couple of years was how easy teams seemed to be able to stroll over the line when in the Eels 20m zone.......don't think it's gonna be so easy this year ......their scrambling in defence when their line was busted in general play is also very good so far .

Fui runs too hard and too fast to be introducing an offload. The impact against the defense is too hard.

Although in previous games, he has done it.

Imagine if fui could it the line, turn and offload.

That would be scary. Petero and Webcke learnt it at the end of their careers.
