Whilst driving thewifeonthehill into town just now she noticed the big billboard on the corner of City West Link and the Crescent at Rozelle with Hodgo in our black shirt. She said `is that your main shirt this year ?' to which i replied yep and she said `where's the orange it looks like a penrith or warriors shirt'. Why don't they wear the orange one it looks much better

Bless her ... chopsy for that, I think I will have to take her to dinner on saturday night to show my appreciation of her extremely on the money sentiments about the black shirt

TBH I was looking at some of the merchandise this year cause I usually buy a polo and wind jacket every couple of years and even on those casual items there's a lack of orange. End result, I'm not buying anything extra this year.

I don't mind the black shirt, but I saw it in the flesh for the first time at the FC and it is a walking billboard.

I know that we are in the modern day and age, sponsorship $$$ etc. etc. and I realise all this - but do UD really need to have their phone number (1800 Dial A UD) on the shirt. Isn't the logo enough? There is too much text on the back.

Seriously, if you want more orange buy the alternate jersey.

Both will be used a fair amount this year. They should just name the jerseys home/away jerseys instead of main/alternate so people don't get their knickers in a knot.

To be clear, I've got no problems with the black jersey (as long as the orange jersey is used as frequently, which it will be), I've got problems with the supporters gear being rubbish and looking like Panfers left-overs.

I like the black strip. Looks mean.

Who gives a fek if it looks similar to the Panfers strip. They stole their design off the All Blacks anyway.
Black is ours now. Penriff can go back to their traditional poo brown.

Penriff will be utter sh*t this year
This of course has repurcussions for the tigers
We can expect to have an influx of lorry driving pamfa fans apply for membership to the WTF, Mat Elliott become our new defensive guru and Noyce negotiate with Pamfas world of entertainment to play 5 home games next season at penriff park

It could be worse, he could become our attacking co-ordinator. haha, elliot & sizzler now that's a coaching combo made in heaven.
