Gold Coast Juniors

It would be good if when the Gold Coast enter the competition they have a team that was largely brought up on the Gold coast and their surrounding areas. So, who are the Gold Coast Juniors running around in the NRL?

The obvious ones are Preston Campbell, Benji Marshall, lolesi, what other NRL players have a link to the Gold Coast?

Just Read that Great Britain Centre Gleeson spent several junior years on the Gold Coast (Beenleigh) before he returning to England. He could be classed as a gold coast junior.

Depends what you call GC juniors.

Group1 (Now the Northern Rivers Rugby League) is only 1 hour down the motorway and most people would consider the GC as a natural progression for young players from Far North NSW. Then you could include Bk and Matt King as sort of local juniors.

My definition of a Gold Coast junior is a player that came from one the clubs that compete in the Gold Coast Junior Rugby League: Burleigh, Tugun-Currumbin, Runaway Bay, Beaudesert, Nerang, Southport, Reedy Creek, Parkwood, Helensvale, Jimboomba, Mudgeeraba, Ormeau & Tamborine.

Ben Kennedy and Matt King are from Casino which is almost the Tweed. What about Chris King from Manly he's from the Far North Coast too.
