Golf multis

I'm about to clean up on a five leg 3 ball from the first round of the US open ($25 at 140/1). My odds are going to be halved though because on one leg, poulter tied with oostie

Do you think halving the dividend is fair? I guess that happens in other sports like horse racing...just wondering if anyone has come across a betting agency that has a different policy?

Dunno much about gold, but a 5 leg multi and one tied....halving the div seems rough.....maybe 20% would be fairer?

The vast majoirty of bookies have the exact same policy.

In one sense your odds have been halved by one of the five legs being a push.

But what really happened, because that leg was a push, its just removed from your multi. So essentially its a 4 leg multi and the odds have been changed accordingly.

Example the 4 leg multi is worth 70/1, add the 5th leg paying 2/1, the multi changes to 140/1. If you had a 6th leg paying 2/1 the multi would be paying 280/1.
