I would've kept Moses in lower grades for another year and had Austin at 5/8 to partner Brooks. After a year or so if Moses was ready for first grade I would consider moving Austin to centre to replace Lawrence whose contract would just about be up.

I wouldn't have begrudged Austin leaving next year for big bucks, but he was under contract this year and the club should have enforced it...

When the contracts work the other way (ie Sheens), the club has to cop it and the consequences...

We could have done with him in 2015 whilst Moses developed..

The Management at the club must be incredible soft touches...

The club he went to made sure they enforced Milford's contract to the end, even though he clearly wasn't happy about it..

Great player. I honestly think he could be the origin 6. He won't be but I think he could play well at that level.

Oh please. Wouldnt make most NRL teams.
Would be in the bottom couple of five eights in the comp.

Silly decision to let him go early. Would have been a good role player for us somewhere.

I thought the WT were mad for letting him go as he is proving he is NRL ready now, he would of been a perfect partner to help both Brooks and Mosses develope,he reminds me of Josh Reynolds without the stupidity.

Has much more talent than Reynolds. Better all round player.
Reynolds is perhaps the worst five eight in the comp.....after Moses.

Bottom three = Moses, Reynolds and Austin and Benji.

Agree. Whole hearted player but no creativity for the halves. Also needs to learn how to pass. He can be a bit of a hog of the ball.

The merkin is gone. Do we miss him? Yes. Will pining about it change anything? No.

Let it go FFS.

I bumped a thread that hadn't been commented on for 2 months not because I am pinning for Austin it was because I was taking the piss...which I think Ron's Mate did too.

It's an Internet discussion forum - people talk about whatever they like.
Are you going to issue us a list of acceptable vs non-acceptable topics?
How long does a player have to be gone for before we can't discuss him anymore? Moltzen? Anasta? Fifita? :sarcasm:

still hasnt played a good game against a top 8 side. plus canberra have lost 5 games in the last few minutes. he isnt a good pressure/clutch player.

his running game and support play are out of this world, apart from these he is a very limited player.
