You are one negative son of a bitch aren't you.

Although you would most likely disagree, but I consider this to be an "acceptable loss" on the following grounds:
a) it certainly wasn't due to lack of effort.
b) the quality of the opposition - SOO or no SOO, you don't consistently come in the top 4 by being crap.
c) Dykes injury. Usually when the 1/2 gets injured, the 5/8 moves to half. However, due to Witt being suspended, we already have a lock playing 5/8 and John Morris (regardless of where he played when he was younger) is a hooker, NOT a half.

All in all, they came back OK considering we had a back rower playing hooker, a hooker playing 1/2 and a lock playing 5/8.

the boys hung in there but we had nothing going for us on the 5th after dykes went off. we really missed him and i think we would have won had he been out there. the broncos were really lacking in segments of the game tonight no doubt because of backing up from origin. hindy was superb as usual. i was having heart palpitations when he was limping around in the first half. morris really needs to work on his kicking game if he wants to become a fair dinkum hooker for this team. phillips i thought vella was good tonight. he didnt do anything bad.

Hmm, what about that try by parra that was blatantly a no try.. Dont know the players name, but he didnt ground the ball and then he hit the corner post.. So that sort of evens it up.

Had Graham not interfered with Mckinnon and stuffed up the bomb i think things possibly would of being different....we had good momentum behind us..just unfortunate we had a few crucial errors at crucial times
However it wasnt to be and they still played with a lot of effort and well you cant win them all...

I think it was Burty and Wade who screwed up that kick.....we need to get us someone who can do them spiral bombs, they are damn hard to catch, especially when your teammate is bashing into you.

Disappointing to lose, but there was alot of effort there - much easier to take a loss like this than those we lost earlier in the year.
