As some of you may know, I was unable to attend the match (but I did manage to catch the 8.30 replay on Nine).

I was impressed byt the game - a lot of intensity and determination shown by both sides and I was thoroughly entertained (although very nervous for most of the second half!).

And from what I hear the atmospehere was superb.

Just wanted to drop in and thank all of you who went to Parra for contributing to the overall atmosphere and to congratulate your team on a fine effort.

Well done.

Had Choc and BK played last night, we would have won.

In tight situations it's usually a Watmough hitup or line break that nudges the ball rolling.

Kennedy's big game experience wouldn't have hurt either.

You cant be sure of that. We had Hindmarsh missing also. It is rare any team fields their best 17 every week. You have to make do with the players you have on the day.

BK I'm not sure of but Watmough could have helped with the abysmal attack. Defensively it was impressive, but really, we had nothing in offense.

Plenty of what-ifs from that game. The referee, players missing etc.....Plenty of things could have happened and they didn't. No use worrying about them. Will be keen for the re-match at Brooky and the inevitable decider during the finals. It was a good tough game, one I enjoyed and not just because of the result. Well done to Manly for putting on a good show.
