Congrats to both sides.. was great to see them win on Sunday ... I'm glad I made the decision to go and watch :)

I am even more pleased that Flegg made it ... they had a rough trot for a bit and then came good.. and have set it up for a bonza game against their traditional Rivals in Penrith.. these 2 sides have battled each other for years since Harold Matt's.. and continue a great tradition between the 2 clubs.

On a side note.. how good would it have been to see all 3 grades on the Big stage.. ah well..

I am/was so proud yesterday.. they went down swinging.. and whilst disappointed... I am far from disillusioned.

The lower grades were so good yesterday, they are both coming up against tough opposition, but they have the momentum and passion to bring it home.

As Joey Grima says "ONE MORE WIN"

Rip Taylor getting a seventh placed side into a Grand final - who'd a thought?

For decades Taylor has been coaching sides like Wyong, Lakes United and Newcastle Wests - and at the start of each season the question is always 'who will be playing against Rip's side in the grandfinal.'

Thanks especially to our prems boys for giving us a team to watch on GF day for the 3rd year in a row!

Good luck to both sides, I thought they were both gutsy, particularly flegg.

That Flegg game had me in all sorts of emotions!!!! It was awesome, i loved every minute, when the Dogs scored those back to back tries i was certain that would be the end of us (much like it was when we played them at Telstra 8 weeks ago or whatever it was) but we dug in and came back! What about the bullsh*t try to the dogs where that little Barba kid ran behind his whole team to score???? That was crap!!! There was atleast 4 shepherds in that try!!!

How good are Mannah and Wright????? They are how i wish our first grade guys would be!!! I know Fui is great but he needs more help, these 2 work in tandum and are brilliant!!!

Unfortunately for Flegg, this is the second GF in 3 years that they are coming up against the runaway best team in the comp and will have to find something amazing to beat Penrith, much like 2005 against the Dragons (who i think we had until those stupid F16's went over and distracted the boys, then Dragons scored 3 quick tries), i don't hold much hope, but they have done so well to get there!!!

I am so looking forward to watching the first 2 games on Sunday, i will be there cheering the boys on, then i might leave, can't stand Manly or Melbourne and they don't deserve people watching them!!!

Broderick Wright is a real good prospect. He is where or ahead of where Cordoba was a few years back. Mannah could be anything but I still want to see him looking for the pass instead of thinking he needs to do it all himself.

Tim Mannah is one of the players I hope can make the step up to grade.

Offcourse he would, along with Wright. They are the two best prop prospects i've seen in many years, very dominant they are.

I like Paul Ivan but he isn't in the same league as some of the others mentioned.

I think Baiteri will be great next year also.

True, however i think with experience he will develop that so i wouldn't worry about it too much.

I'd like to add 2 more to that list..Tim Robinson worked his arse off yesterday and Duane Poeneki came on and dented the defence with every run as he's been doing all year.

It'll be a big big ask to defeat Penrith and I can see the boys struggling but I'm sure they'll do the best they can.

Agreed, Tim and Duan, have both been good all year. duan was missing for a while (injured maybe) we have been much better since his return imo. Justin Wood was pretty good when he came on too

So Kris Keating is out???? i've been waiting all year to see this kid play :(

not officially no, however he didn't look flash and when I asked him about it straight after the game he said that his knee felt like it was moving from side to side when he walking on it..

he said he didn't how it would fair up this week but he had the "no chance" look happening..you would of thought the poor kid had just lost the game.

Almost like losing.

It would be a big shame and a blow to the teams chances. I heard Maloney may be right but would you go with him or take a chance and bring in Trent Hodgkinson and bring Cam Speechley into the Flegg side?

that's probably the direction they'll go...although Hunt will probably move to 7 and Campbell will come in at 6.

btw, we have massive problems on our right side where Ivan and Russ are playing, Penrith will have a field day if they don't fix it up this week.
