The Super League 9 season will be using the ball that is in the game (the Steeden Kellogg's Nutri Grain ball). No more needing to adjust the ball to 8 panel ones, we're using the exact same one as the NRL next season now Only problem is the kits will be wrong... hmm never mind

Is there any difference in the weight, shape or aerodynamics of the balls or is the only difference the appearance?

They are like a bloated Soccer ball and it is much easier to pass.
