At the end of the day, players align with nations that will provide them with the best opportunity to take them somewhere. Where talent is fungible, as is the case here, there will always be a natural tendancy for it to flow to the tier one nations, and at best tier two. That is to say, smaller, less professional leagues will always suffer - there is a natural almost subconcious order to these things.

Furthermore, the eligibility rules should possibly be structured so as to counter this flow to some extent ie. make it harder for players to represent better nations. The worry is players would not want to play at all if they don't get their preferred pick.

My 3 youngest are born in Aus there is no way I class them as Australian!!!!

What a stupid comment in light of current social problems bubbling away. Obviously you came here for a reason work, lifestyle whatever but the fact that they were born in Australia makes them Aussies of (insert parents country of origin) heritage. With that statement you appear to not actually like Australians or Australia. We are far from perfect here but at the end of the day, its not North Korea and you are free to leave at anytime.
Rant over, back to the footy.

If his 3 youngest are under 12 (or 10) and their mother isn't Australian then they aren't actually Australian according to Australia.
