Yeah but technically the fact is he didn't play Origin. If every player on the market used the old "I heard a rumour that I was almost picked for Origin" as a marketing tool, then no one would be payed less than 500k. I relise that actually getting selected like Orford did is a little different, but he didn't play or for that matter get anywhere near an Origin camp.
