Another South Sydney junior from the South Eastern Seagulls McPherson had been a regular part of the first grade squad for three years now but injury has curtailed his development somewhat. A strong free running backrower who is also punishing in defence.

When I came on in the last minutes of extra time I charged down a couple of field goal attempts and the game against the Bulldogs at the Showgrounds ended in a 21-all draw.
