Google's quest for global domination continues, with the release of Google Talk, the Google equivalent to AIM, Yahoo Messenger, and the hugely popular MSN messenger. Whilst it's pretty 'bare as bones' at the moment, it's fully functional, and Google have said they're committed to improving the service.

Just downloaded it... pretty simple atm, but as you said Google will be improving it (obviously). Be interesting to see how it compares to AIM and MSN in the future..
