I'd much rather Bennet, mainly because I'm much more interested in the players and what they do on the field than the coach and any self serving self promotion they do before the game and smug arrogance after the game.

Bennett, for mine, is a genuinly nice bloke, who has overcome a fair bit of adveristy and handled it with style and grace and been a very good winner and loser who give credit where credit is due.

Gould couldn't be further from that and appears manipulative and vindictive with a fair amount of hypocrite thrown in.

Wayne Bennett is a great man, because he lets his coaching do the talking. Much better than Gould.

Phil Gould is a decent coach, but his over-inflated ego controls his decisions to the detriment of his performance, e.g. game 2

Brian Smith is a born loser who is out of his depth

I rather listen to Bennet any day of the week than one word uttered from Gould's ugly f**kin head.
The reason Bennet didn't talk to the media was because of blokes like Gould .

have a look at that, shows how "great a bloke" Phil Gould is.
He has let his bias run its influence for way too long in origin. Ill be glad to see him gone, he had a far better team to coach last night no doubt about that, he did a poor job not to win the series 3-0.
I have nothing but respect for Wayne Bennett and nothing but despise for Gould who is one of the most arrogant and opinionated fools I hate ever seen.

Well said about Bennett.

I am a NSW country boy thru and thru, I've played for NSW in sports. But Gould has me a QLD fan each time he leads the blues. Why ? because next to people like bennet, who have character, respect, moral concience, and are precise and exact with their views on football, Gould is not fit to tie their shoes.

Bennet has plenty to say to those who listen . He does not suffer fools , hence so many fools fail to understand him and so they criticise.

A person who admire and respects Phil Gould.......

A person who admires and respects Wayne Bennet......

Pretty easy choice as to who you would like with you in the trenches.
