Phil hasnt been at his devastating best this year, he has been carrying a niggly neck injury as well. Add that to his wrist and the guy needs time to recover and find his best form again.

Maybe this time to heal will actually be a good thing for Phil.

ANyway, Chalk was in good form in the centres during the trials, hopefully he can find that again.

Funny you guys think Graham hasn't been in form - I agree his attack hasn't been as great as it has been, but his defence this year has been great.

Just the news we didn't need. We are so short on backs and Graham was one of the few that could score a try from anywhere!!! Time for Chalk to step up.

This is a worry as Howell is too inconsistant and Marshall Chalk and Colin Best were Dreadfull last time they played against Manly with the back defence. I hope Zillman reads the kicks well and Campese gets in the side even if Carney does play so he could come on if our defence in the backline fails early.
One reason is why i would lik eHinchcliffe in the centers is of his defence and seems to have a good running game.

I've read it's more like 12 weeks than 10 (I know, still a giant chunk of the season), so we really need a centre option - and fast - because our backline bar Zillman stinks at the moment.
