FORMER Sea Eagles coach Graham Lowe is set to be named Manly CEO tomorrow night.
Lowe met with Sea Eagles board members on Monday night to discuss the vacancy.
It is believed the Auckland-based New Zealander is one of two contenders left vying for the role.
But The Manly Daily understands Lowe is set to be handed the job on a two to three-year term tomorrow night.
His appointment will end a five-month search for Grant Mayers replacement.
Sea Eagles chairman and co-owner Scott Penn said a shortlist of contenders is being reviewed with all discussions very positive.
Penn would not confirm if a CEO would be named tomorrow night.
The Sea Eagles yesterday announced wingers David Williams and Michael Robertson were re-signing to two-year deals. The CEO is next on the agenda at tomorrow nights monthly board meeting.
We have certainly got things to talk about, Penn said.
We are down to a shortlist and we are very pleased with the candidates we have. Its too early too call.
Director Brett Delmege said he was hopeful a resolution would be settled at tomorrow nights board meeting.
Im confident that the board will reach an agreement on a new CEO moving forward after Thursday nights meeting, he said.
Meanwhile, the club yesterday celebrated the re-signings of their two premiership-winning backs.
Robertsons two-year deal is likely to extend to the remainder of his career, while Williams has also signed for the next two seasons.
Manly coach Des Hasler said the signatures were important for the clubs immediate future following the recent departure of skipper Matt Orford to England.
``They have developed well at Manly after initially joining the club for an opportunity, Hasler said.
``They are both proven in big matches and are excellent finishers.
The likeable Robertson joined Manly from Canberra in 2006, playing in 104 successive games over the past four seasons, highlighted by his three-try performance in the 2008 premiership win over Melbourne.
``I never wanted to go anywhere, the 26-year-old ex-Raider said.
``Im happy to play out my career in the NRL with the club.
Williams, a Parramatta junior, joined Manly two seasons ago.
The popular winger said hes hoping to lift his game in 2010.
``I was up and down last season and want to be consistent in the upcoming season, the 23-year-old said.
