Grand Final Cap

Hey Dragons,

Roosters fan here. Congrulations on the grand final win and the season in general. I travelled down from brisbane to the game and thought the atmosphere was outstanding by both teams supporters and was definitely a fun and shattering experience at the same time. I was obviously disappointed by the outcome and the decisions made by the referee at times, but we were beaten by the better team on the day.

Anyway I purchased a grand final cap before the game, just your stock standard nrl merchandise but I have no use for it and would like to offer it to someone that may apreciate it a little more. It's never been worn or anything it's just a sickening reminder of that day.

Being a Red V member means I get a new cap EVERY year! I have caps galore! And considering we seem to only play night games I've hardly worn a cap all year (except for the afternoon game in Canberra).

You'll know next time - wait until the game is over before buying your merchandise.

Its not a Roosters hat, its a blue hat with the emblems of both the dragons and roosters on it plus some writing, eg NRL grand final, etc. A unique hat to get your hands on to remember the special day.

What is this obsession some supporters have with the referee?

Not all Easts supporters, most realise that there is no stock in making mention of the refs, but it seems that some have convinced themselves that it had some bearing on the match.

The Foxsports crew must have really done a number of the gullible. Brainwashed.

And thanks for the congrats, better luck next year etc, and I have plenty of caps. 16 in all...

Yeah i drunkenly picked up one of those myself. Only thing that irks me is the roosters logo is on the left when it was technically our home game. And the thing is blue. Oh well
