Grand Final Entertainment?

Pre-game entertainment happens every year, has for the last 20+, I don't have a problem with it. For some people, it's the perfect time to sneak out for a beer and piss before the big game.

Can you please tell me how "all that other rubbish" possibly delays the game? It's all scheduled into the day, it doesn't affect the kickoff time, which is usually the first thing the NRL decides before planning the day.

And the answer is Wolfmother are headlining.

I admit to being deadset old fashioned when it comes to footy, but when I go to GF's, I'm there to watch footy. All that other bloody rubbish annoys me. Pregame entertainment should be limited to having a few under 9's playing mini footy for 15 minutes while they warm up and if they really want to get extravagant, have a marching band do a couple of laps. All that other rubbish just delays the game!

The prematch entertainment makes it an event for everyone to enjoy.

Grand final day is more than just a game of footy.
