Yeah but let´s be honest at the moment it's ´who gives a shit about the entertainment .´

But if it was the other around and the NRL had big names and AFL had no names your tune would change all of sudden the entertainment would be important and you be laughing and pissing on the AFL for it.

Teddy swims is a big name actually and a current very popular artist. He’s currently at the peak of his career so far. Very different to snoop who is famous but hardly current, the music he will be performing will be from the 90s and early 2000s.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but half time is to go to the toilet (optional whether to piss in it or drink from it, maybe both). If you want to see a singer, buy a ticket to their concert.

Don't know how much more exposure you get, especially on a global stage for people to tune in to see rugby league because some famous singer performs 3 songs at half time. Locally, even casual or even non fans would know when the GF is on, no need to spend thousands if not millions to bring a singer. They can just have a couple of LU posters from the opposing teams recapping first half highlights and the match day thread and it would be better viewing.

Don't care for Teddy Swims. Nor do I care for Snoop Dog.

But just look at the streaming numbers. The NRL have brought in someone relevant to younger fans. Its all you really want.

If you aren't entertained go take a piss or grab a drink. For at home viewers its the perfect time to make a cocktail. Negroni for me. Or dive into some of those mini Frankfurts (Cocktail frankfurts?) with tomato sauce.

Is Snoop Dogg known for his music or just being a gangsta rap and marijuana icon?

Can anyone name one of his songs without googling?

I mean I loved his turn in Half Baked “I just stopped smoking yesterday” lol

I can't. Always been a meme to me.

Can name some of his 'feat' songs. Drop it like its hot, holiday inn.

In my case, I’d have to google both but loving that we appear to have out hyped the other mob this time round given the reaction

Is this Teddy fella the guy that had a guest slot on Tulsa King? The face tatts look familiar. If so the dude has some some pipes.

Okay, I just checked out some of Teddy’s vids on YouTube. His music sounds introspective and don’t know how this would fire up the crowd. I’m old and punk/garage generation and I just see some fat merkin singing mainstream, commercial shit but if that’s what the young folk think is cool then I’m on board. For me, his only saving grace is that he is indeed a fat merkin in an industry that typically (mainstream at least) favours attractive people. He could be the Ron Jeremy of music.
