Graham again leaves his post because he does not trust his inside man. Try results. This has been the story for 3-4 years and no one has been able to beat it out of his play. If Reynolds is crook, then he should not be in that position out wide in the last two tackles.
That said, Penrith look more energetic. Amazing given their last 4 weeks.
Murray's heavy knock at the opening has caused our speed off the line in defence to be a bit slower - surrendering easy metres, particularly post contact ground.
The final replay angle on Luai's 'dropped' ball should have been our scrum on their 10 metre line - instead we have been under pressure for the rest of the half.
Kikau lucky not to get 10 in the bin - instead Arrow gets 10 in the head bin - what the Flyin' F...
Allowing opposition off loads, as has also been an issue for a few years, is causing heart attacks in this house hold.
Yet, we are still in there. Often when a side with dominant ball and field stats do not score as they should, they are vulnerable to fold. Here's hoping that will play out for Penrith.
When we have the ball outside of our quarter we look dangerous. Paulo would no doubt grubber kick - twice - if he had his time again. But these are signs that with more balanced field position, we can roll them.

Penrith power at both ends would have broken any team. Souths very courageous to be competing till the end. Always disappointing to lose but the effort from the team was terrific.

Gutsy game guys. Hold your heads up your team did you proud.
"Go Riff are kidding themselves. They fell over the line at full strength against a side missing one of the NRL's biggest stars. 4 turnovers from kicks and they fail to score off one?? Then they score off an intercept plus they have all critical decisions go their way?? I cannot see "Go Riff there again I would say they were extremely fortunate in an inefficient, undeserving V.

The courage was outstanding considering FOUR turnovers from kicks and one froma scrum win!! I guarantee Cleary Snr was relieved Mitchell was absent I'm certain he makes abig difference in that. The Chin commits fouls regularly but he never gets suspended, that's reserved for Mitchell and Sam B. Nothing like subjective bias.

Early in the first half the ref called a dropped ball against Luai and got an incorrect call that Souths had infringed. Penalty to Penrith

The penalty to Penrith to go 8-6 up was completely unavoidable, the ref should have just called them to replay the play the ball

The high tackle late in the game on Gagai from Burton was a love tap but a penalty every single game since magic round

And finally the last pass from Cody with the touch from Cleary was missed and we couldn't challenge because we lost the challenge on

We couldn't get a call and we all knew we wouldn't with the Penrith Referees Associations favourite son Grant Atkins deciding if and when to intervene

Not taking away from Cody's intercept and Reyno's missed goal but we were certainly up against it
