Just interested to see how people see the GF panning out.
If you have no idea that's okay but please no hijacking this thread because you disagree with what someone else thinks.

Personally I think Melbourne are still smarting from last years loss and the record of biggest GF loss won't sit well with them.
I see them winning by 42-0 if Hayne gets suspended or 36-12 if Hayne gets let off.

I agree , got a feeling too that we could see another grand final which will involve a 40+ win

i can see storm scoring over 50 and a big winning margin, whether hayne plays or not

don't write parra off just yet, storm preperation has been less than ideal.
Manly and Broncos had nothing against them, Parra on the other hand have played 3 pretty tough battles and will be match hardened.

Less than ideal...ever considered the fact that Storm were clinical in both performances and gave their opposition nothing. Manly and Broncos had nothing because Storm are on their game not because the opposition rolled over.

I want Parramatta to win. There were so many comments in 2002 about the Warriors getting to the Grand Final that it should have been Easts and the Salary Cap Rorters, so many comments that the style of football that Anderson's team won wasn't right for finals football. It was all bollocks. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him as a coach, he's a guy who encourages skill usage and merely creates structure that allows the execution of said skills to be most effective. Perhaps here at Parramatta they're a little more skillful overall than the Warriors of 2002 and I think that will be the end difference. I believe they tend to push up slightly better outside of their halves than the Warriors did which would make their offload game more effective.

Good luck, Ando.

or Parra may have just about run their race for this year and be buggered both mentally and physically.

To be honest, I'm not confident.

However, all you people suggesting it will be a blow-out seem to be ignoring the fact we have one of, if not the best, defensive units going around atm....

Pretty much what i was going to say before i read your post. I've read a few times how the Storm haven't really shown much against poor opposition in Manly and Broncos but totally ignore the face the Mexicans absolutely dominated them in every facet of the game. You can only play as good as your opposition let you and the fact is that the Storm just didn't let those teams play well, pure and simple.

As for the "easy" lead up with soft games as opposed to Parra's 3 tough and hard games i actually think it'll be much more of an advantage for the Storm. You only had to see what happened last year, you could see the Storm were totally spent both mentally and physically, they got spanked from arsehole to breakfast because they had nothing left. Being as fresh as they are now IMO is and will be a massive advantage and Parra's tough lead up might just find them out especially in the back end of the game.

Storm by 12 for mine.

It's as though some people think Manly and Brisbane just suddenly turned into sh1t teams overnight and then played the storm.
They were both real contenders and they both were smashed.

Let the media and consensus be then that Storm are going in underdone...a dangerous way of thinking.
