The week leading up to grand final there is always a huge amount of puff pieces building up the two combatants to satiate the demand for content for one game.

I can remember when Penrith and Cronulla first came into the first grade competition. I was 12 years old. I watched Penrith play us at Cumberland Oval on a wet and cold afternoon. Was it '67 or '68? Fell in love with the brown and white jerseys. I was never so keen on the black ones, and I plain don't like the pink ones. But I've still got a soft spot for Penrith. Good luck tonight.
