Wow, you're a f**king moron, that said really shouldn't expect any better from someone who bases their life values on fairy tales.

The Dream in 2000 is the All Time greatest achievemnet in Oz TV. I realise its not a stellar list, but it was absolutely World Class.

Still the best shit ever. Listening to This Sporting Life on hungover Sunday arvo's with a spliff under the belt back in the day are great memories.

This post made me nostalgic. Nice.

The ground staff at ANZ Stadium are probably painting the ABC News Radio signage on the playing surface as I post this.

Will try to catch their call from the "card table".

how do people find them funny? I guess it is the same people that find the footy show and big bang theory funny.

I once read H.G.'s description of how they come up with their stuff. He said they simply "make the serious trivial, and the trivial serious". Like all humour, it wither works or doesn't work for each individual. For the record, I hate Big Bang Theory (like I hate just about all American sitcoms), and I hate the Footy Show, which stopped being funny 15 years ago. I also hate Seinfeld and Arrested Development, to give 2 examples of very popular but very different shows that tickle a lot of people's funny bones, but don't tickle mine. Each to their own.

Roy and H.G. are top of the humour tree for me, and I'll be tuning into Festival of the Boot Part 2 tonight, like I tuned into Part 1 last week. I happen to like AFL, but I reckon even if I hated it, I'd still tune in purely to enjoy more of Roy and H.G.

Here's some more classic moments (don't watch if you're an animal liberationist type):
