The group of fellas I go to home games with have always discussed doing a Leagues Club GF and greet the players when they get back. I've never done it before.

Went to the 2000 and 2002 Grand Final and ended up at the leagues club after both games, 2000 felt like we won even though we lost and 2002 was just electric inside waiting for the players to turn up. Watched the 2004 at the club, atmosphere was good but couldn’t wait to get out the place after we lost, it was very somber.

Better to lose a gf than not make it at all.

I’d prefer a longer build up with players signed for the next year able to start for a side in a final series ( if their side doesn’t make it or they are knocked out)

I’m that case, Crichton could play. I think he would come off the bench though with very simple instruction. He’d ice it though.

He is a massive buy for you. Extraordinary player and we are fuming!!

Tried to go to the club after 2013 GF but by the time we got to Central, we settled for a couple of bevies at the Aurora and went home. Bloody too long a day. We’d been on it since the am. Bring back the 3pm kick off. Have a great day out and hope we leave the club elated

Robbo is studying the storm as we write.

I am expecting a number of positional switches from both sides to get an advantage.

Agreed.

I intended to go to Easts Leagues after the 2013 GF but by the time the train rolled into Central I was f**ked! Just had a couple of celebratory beers at Star Casino instead, which was just close to my hotel.

So I'd much prefer a daytime GF too.

Yep 2000 was a day game, 2000 and 2002 I caught the supporters bus out from Easts Leagues, that made it easy to get back to the club, it didn't take long for the club to fill up in 2002, we were on the first bus back, I know of people waiting outside the club not being able to get in, think I left around 3am, I think by the 2003 GF they had stopped running the supporters buses due to free public transport being part of your ticket. 2013 I went straight home after the game, tired but happy, it was a very hot day that day. Have a great time at the club and hopefully you get to see the Roosters bringing the Premiership cup into the club.

I think so. I can’t believe the purple merkins are favourites.

Latrell is lethal and the best back in the game other than a fully fit gi.

They will devote a lot of resources to him which robbo is planning to exploit.

And teddy is hitting some form again. He’s also potent in attack. If he doesn’t get through two tackles per run, he is underperforming. Very high standard of player.

People think the roosters will be defending sure, but the attacking arsenal is shock and awe.
Can’t believe the purple cheaters are favourites??
I can’t believe 2 RoRting cheating teams are playing each other
May the biggest cheats from both of you lose, that probably means a draw you cheating rorting teams
Peewwekkkkk
