Wouldnt mind heading to the game regardless of where i sit. Ive looked on Ebay but theres nothing there. Any other ideas how to get some. The Nrl GF is so easy to get tickets to but this one i cant find anywhere ?

Scalpers are the best bet, but the tickets would be upard of $1000! You may be able to ring the MCG and see if season ticket holders have picked up all their tickets, but jeez you will be lucky. This is the biggest game of the year, and 99/100 the only tickets left going into GF week are the tickets reseved for the respective clubs about 8,000 each. You may have luck that some Saints supporters may not want to go. The best bet is to go to Ticketek and check on now don't quote me on this but I think it is Monday at midday for the clubs members' to gather their tickets. Maybe call in after that? Other than that good luck in getting tickets.

I do have some mates who are Saints supporters that have tickets, I will check tommorrow whether they are still going!

Yes I am serious. Both my cousins were going but the Saints lost so now I don't know. I will let you know by 6pm tommorrow. If availiable they will be at face value. Cheers.

The other way is to go into the StKilda official forum, (no i don't know the address off the top of my head), and make a post in there. Believe me a lot of Saints supporters if their team gets knocked out they won't go. I have a gut feeling that both my mates won't go as they HATE both WC and the Swans!

By here you do mean Sydney right? To answer your question 1 lives in Melbourne, the other lives in Cronulla near the beach. I am at uni in canberra but I plan to come to sydney this week before I go to melbourne on wed night/thursday. Not sure the day yet!

I might just do that st kilda thing. Although im a bit worried about going to melbourne without tickets as i can just imagine st kilda supporters wanting payback on sydney and their supporters one way or another.

I have two flights booked and I will just pull out of one. I have one which is wednesday night, and one which is early thursday morning. I am not surprised about ticket prices they are ridiculously expensive. I put mine on frequent flyers, so I didn't have to pay in cash. The prices are always like this around the GF, as companies want to make money and they KNOW people will come to Melbourne even if it means paying twice the amount that they should!

Most of the SAINTS fans are not bad. They are not a bad bunch, as I have sat in the middle of them. There are always a few but isn't there always? I think you will find 99% of AFL fans are good sports, well that is what I find anyway!
