Here's a bit of trivia - every current first grade team that has beaten Redcliffe in a grand final, has had the favour returned .... except Burleigh. Does that mean Redcliffe are due to win for a 1999 payback ? Or does the consecutive GF loss-win-loss-win-loss-win record since 1987 mean Redcliffe are due for a loss ?

I'd love to mud, but I was banking on winning the QRL tipping comp and will now miss the big event. Have a beer for me and I send my condolences regarding the Panthers.

BTW, my dad sent me down tapes of the games and some of those old grand finals that the ABC were showing. Good to hear you get a mention from Wrighty concerning the lending of the 1980 grand final tape. I wonder why they had to change the coverage from the Arthur Denovan one to the Billy J one. And they should've shown more of the fight.
