I hope Matai doesn't get suspened, we can handled no T-Rex (although I hope his right) with Glen back, but it could ruin our mojo without STeve...

T-Rex is fine. He has no record and anything careless up to level 2 is fine. No so sure about Matai. He has carry-over and does lead in... Pretty soft stuff to miss a grand final though. Will wait and see. He tried to pull out and it may just save him. Any other Manly player would be fine, just not Matai.

Agreed about Matai, i think he is in trouble, I also think Trex tackle looked rather nasty.

Maybe Hoppa to the centres and Oldfield to the wing if Matai is suspended

good win manly fans :) your team has played well all year and deserves its spot.

matai however is in a lot of trouble. given his general reputation, i dont think he will get off lightly. also because the broncos player stayed down.

your best bet to win will be if you face a warriors teams who are offbeat. melbourne will be hard to beat.

(i personally am wanting to see the warriors get into the gf. only to see melbourne lose and also to see some open gameplay.)

Thats the likely outcome, but I'm still nervous watching Oldfield in defence. Is still green, but he has some beautiful pace if doesn't overrun the play.

Matai is likely to miss because of his history, but I think T-Rex will be fine. But, on the goodside is Glen Stewart will be back and I can see a huge game from him.

Absolutely, G Stewart back is great, hope Trex is a low level, i dont think he has any carry over points.

Besides all the losers giving it to Matai, i think his record will hurt him..

I was just watching the replay on that Matai incident. It is soft as... He stayed down for the penalty. The left knee hits the other leg ffs.

T Rex was clumsy. I'm hopeful with his good record he will get off. Poor guy was so cut when he realised Yow Yeh might've been hurt.

Regardless if Manly win or lose will the team go to that house and celebrate or commiserate. I think the three storey house was owned by M Delmege.

Matai won't play, too many carry over points. Lussick and G Stewart are back. Manly should win the GF based on what I saw last night.

Congrats guys, all the best next week.

You guys must be so proud of DCE, that game last night was as good a game from a halfback I have seen in a long long time, and to do that as a rookie was brilliant, he could win the Clive Churchill Medal next week if you guys win ( which I think you will ) then I'd pick him in the Aussie Squad for the upcoming tour.

Your management knew what they were doing by not worrying about getting into a bidding war to keep Trent Hodkinson.

Don't get your hopes up. You will not win the GF next week Warriors or Melbourne will destroy you by at least 30+ and all of you will be crying home in your basement having a sausagefest.

That is a pretty bloody good team, maybe even better than the 2008 team.

Rose vs Bryant

Those are the main changes from the 2008 team - what is funny is that if it wasn't for injury and both King and Wolfman were pronounced fit, who would be dropped from the current team to accommodate for them? I don't see Lussick getting a look-in either, unless T-Rex is suspended.

great year from the boys.. im shocked on how well we have gone... i thought we wouldnt contend a gf for another year or 2...proved alot of people wrong who wrote them off.. great work.. not much in the incidents.. t rex should be fine fingers crossed, matai.. not so sure due to his history.
