Girl I was seeing at the time of the grand final that year wasn’t a fan but watched the grand final coverage. Asked me about an hour into it why they were only talking about one team.

It was some one sided reffing. But that happens dozens of times each year. What’s worse is the square ups to try making it look like it was fair. But the square ups are usually rapid fire early in tackle counts and arent close to the same as the early calls.

Atkins was putrid today. Absolutely awful. One of the worst I've seen.

The Bulldogs were 20 levels better than Souths today. If the refereeing performance switched around, you still would have beaten us.
