Where on earth do you think I could get a team list for Saturday night's game?

The Greek site? Noooooo

The Italian site? Noooooo

Any thoughts people?

I'm travelling down from QLD to watch this game (and some other inconsequential game on Sunday night), you'd think this would be promoted a bit more.

Try and email Terry Liberopoulos of Rugby League Review. terry@rugbyleaguereview.com
I believe he is well connected, and if anyone has team lists ready at this stage, he'll probably know. But don't be surprised if team line-ups aren't fully finalised until the day.

The shame is that without knowing if any 'name' players are lining up I have buckleys of getting any friends to go to the game. Particularly in this *lovely* Sydney weather you've put on. Good thing I packed the brolley.

Italy defeated Greece 58 - 14.

No idea who the tryscorers were, or who the teams were.

It was a very lopsided match with Italy still trouncing the Greeks despite being limited to only 12 players for most of the match. Mick Russo (former Australian schoolboy captain) was sent off after an all in brawl was sparked by a sickening high tackle.

It was a good crowd, proabably about 2,000. Considering the inclemant weather, it was a small but vocal crowd.

3 or 4 brawls within the first half was enough to keep the crowd of about 12-1500 vocal. Sharks Michael Russo sent off, and a Greek player in the sin bin.

The crowd would have been bigger if the rain had stayed away.

Try scorers included Penrith Panthers' latest recruit Paul Franze and Italy based Simone Franchini ( I think).

Sharks Andrew Dallalana, Raiders Jason Bulgarelli and an ex Cowboy & Warriors player were amongst the players for Italy.

Canberra Radiers' Russo withdrew due to injury, while former Cowboy Paul Dezolt and Raiders' Campese were also late withdrawls.

Tigers Anthony Laffranchi and Souths Mark Minichiello were in attendance to show their support.
