In RL2, i have redone the Great Britain & England squads as:

Great Britain

1. Paul Wellens
2. Leon Pryce
3. Keith Senior
4. Martin Gleeson
5. Brian Carney
6. Kevin Sinfield (GK/PK)
7. Danny McGuire
8. Stuart Fielden
9. Kieron Cunningham
10. Nick Fozzard
11. Adrian Morley
12. Jamie Peacock
13. Paul Sculthorpe (GK/PK) (C)

14. Gareth Ellis
15. Robert Burrow
16. Jamie Thackray
17. Sean O'Loughlin

Paul Johnson
Kris Radlinksi
Mark Calderwood
Chev Walker
Danny Ward
Paul Cooke
Paul Deacon
Ryan Bailey
Iestyn Harris
Richard Horne
Gareth Hock
Danny Tickle
Jon Wilkin
Lee Gilmour
Mickey Higham
Terry Newton
Gareth Raynor

England

1. Sean Briscoe
2. Ade Gardner
3. Paul Sykes (GK)
4. Kirk Yeaman
5. Gareth Raynor
6. Chris Thorman (PK/GK)
7. Luke Robinson (PK)
8. Ewan Dowes
9. Malcolm Alker (C)
10. Gareth Carvell
11. Mark Edmondson
12. Lee Radford
13. Chris Charles

14. Andy Coley
15. Paul King
16. Matt Diskin
17. Jamie Langley

Paul Anderson
Jamie Rooney
Jamie-Jones Buchanan
Danny Sculthorpe
Michael Withers
Sean Long
Mark Gleeson
Kevin Brown
Stuart Reardon
Keith Mason
Paul Reilly
Paul Wood
Andy Lynch
Stephen Wild
Darrell Griffin
Ben Westwood
Eorl Crabtree

But i am perplexed with who are the best of the front rowers available (that is why i have only 6 in the GB squad, & 11 in the England squad). Can any of you ESL fans put, in your opinion, the best props available for GB/England IN ORDER? Currently i have (in no order):

Stuart Fielden
Adrian Morley
Nick Fozzard
Jamie Thackray
Danny Ward
Ryan Bailey
Ewan Dowes
Gareth Carvell
Mark Edmondson
Andy Coley
Paul King
Paul Anderson
Danny Sculthorpe
Keiht Mason
Andy Lynch
Darrell Griffin
Eorl Crabtree

Did i miss any out of the BEST props? If so, can you name them? And if not, can you put these in the order of best to worst? Thank you. I would also appreciate if you could improve on the squads (i'm aiming for 35 man squads).

I think you have got most of them there mate but if Danny Sculthorpe can get fully fit then he would be a great player, he has better ball skills than every prop on that list.
Remember the name James Graham from St Helens as well although he's probably more a 2nd rower atm, massive potential.

From that list my order would be:

Stuart Fielden
Adrian Morley
Jamie Thackray
Nick Fozzard
Eorl Crabtree
Ewan Dowes
Ryan Bailey
Gareth Carvell
Paul Anderson
Danny Ward
Mark Edmondson
Paul King
Danny Sculthorpe
Andy Lynch
Keith Mason
Andy Coley
Darrell Griffin

I think you are seriously underrating Crabtree. He should have played for GB last year IMO.

Some more tips:

Long to GB 7,McGuire to 6,Sinfield to squad member.

Withers out of England squad(he plays for Ireland).

Charles should be out of the England squad completely(he was only picked as his club coach is also the England coach).Replace with Wild or Westwood.

Coley should probably also be swapped with Paul Wood.

I like EH's order.

Don't know how any of the players rate/play in the game though. Should be getting mine in time for the Christmas break...

I've finalised my two squads pretty much now:

Great Britain

1. Paul Wellens
2. Leon Pryce
3. Keith Senior
4. Martin Gleeson
5. Brian Carney
6. Kevin Sinfield (GK/PK)
7. Danny McGuire
8. Stuart Fielden
9. Kieron Cunningham
10. Nick Fozzard
11. Adrian Morley
12. Jamie Peacock
13. Paul Sculthorpe (GK/PK)

14. Gareth Ellis
15. Robert Burrow
16. Jamie Thackray
17. Sean O'Loughlin

Paul Johnson
Kris Radlinksi
Mark Calderwood
Chev Walker
Eorl Crabtree
Paul Cooke
Paul Deacon
Ryan Bailey
Iestyn Harris
Richard Horne
Ewan Dowes
Danny Tickle
Lee Gilmour
Mickey Higham
Terry Newton
Gareth Raynor

England

1. Sean Briscoe
2. Ade Gardner
3. Paul Sykes
4. Kirk Yeaman
5. Gareth Raynor
6. Chris Thorman
7. Luke Robinson
8. Paul Anderson
9. Malcolm Alker
10. Gareth Carvell
11. Gareth Hock
12. Lee Radford
13. Stephen Wild

14. Danny Ward
15. Paul King
16. Matt Diskin
17. Jamie Langley

Mark Edmondson
Jamie Rooney
Jamie-Jones Buchanan
Danny Sculthorpe
Sean Long
Mark Gleeson
Kevin Brown
Stuart Reardon
Keith Mason
Paul Reilly
Paul Wood
Andy Lynch
Jon Wilkin
Darrell Griffin
Ben Westwood
Andy Coley

Any queries? Or suggestions on what i should change? I want there to be a similar number of reserves for each position on each squad, for similar depth. Plus also the more deserving players should get the actual team spots. I'm hoping to get this finalised by the time my Pom & Kiwi friends come over to play a Tr-Nations series with me! I've already updated my NZ & Australia squads, & it looks nearly set.

Peace.

PS. i was thinking Edmondson in for Radford, switching Long with either Harris or Deacon, & maybe Wilkin in for Langley. Thoughts?

In my opinion I wouldn't put Edmondson ahead of Radford. Swap Sean Long for Danny Tickle and you might have a better indication of standards and experience, even though they play different positions. That's assuming your GB squad is "higher" than your England squad?

16. Jamie Thackray
17. Sean O'Loughlin

Paul Johnson
Kris Radlinksi
Mark Calderwood
Chev Walker
Eorl Crabtree
Paul Cooke
Paul Deacon
Ryan Bailey
Sean Long
Richard Horne
Ewan Dowes
Gareth Carvell
Lee Gilmour
Mickey Higham
Terry Newton

Let us know how you go! Are you playing them in Tri Nations/Euro Nations modes or something?

Yes i am. It should be good. But at his special request, the squads were slightly edited. He, along with myself, feels that Higham is overrated, & much similar to Karl Pratt. He also believes in the 80 minute hooker. The now finalised squad with his viewing is:

Great Britain

1. Paul Wellens
2. Leon Pryce
3. Keith Senior
4. Martin Gleeson
5. Brian Carney
6. Kevin Sinfield (GK/PK)
7. Danny McGuire
8. Stuart Fielden
9. Kieron Cunningham
10. Adrian Morley
11. Paul Johnson
12. Jamie Peacock
13. Paul Sculthorpe (GK/PK)
14. Gareth Ellis
15. Nick Fozzard
16. Jamie Thackray
17. Sean O'Loughlin

Jon Wilkin
Kris Radlinksi
Mark Calderwood
Chev Walker
Eorl Crabtree
Paul Cooke
Paul Deacon
Ryan Bailey
Sean Long
Richard Horne
Ewan Dowes
Gareth Carvell
Lee Gilmour
Robert Burrow
Terry Newton
Gareth Raynor
Stephen Wild

England

1. Sean Briscoe
2. Ade Gardner
3. Paul Sykes
4. Kirk Yeaman
5. David Hodgson
6. Chris Thorman
7. Luke Robinson
8. Paul Anderson
9. Malcolm Alker
10. Danny Ward
11. Gareth Hock
12. Lee Radford
13. Jamie Langley
14. Paul King
15. Danny Tickle
16. Paul Wood
17. Andy Lynch

Mark Edmondson
Jamie Rooney
Jamie-Jones Buchanan
Danny Sculthorpe
Iestyn Harris
Mark Gleeson
Kevin Brown (though James Roby is coming along nicely)
Stuart Reardon
Keith Mason
Paul Reilly
Matt Diskin
Adam Hughes (i don't know if any other outside backs are better than him)
Mike Bennett (not so sure about this guy either)
Darrell Griffin
Ben Westwood
Andy Coley
Chris Charles (he thinks this guy is good :S)

Hughes is a shocking player and is Welsh. If he is desperate for an outside back he could consider Aspinwall or Mathers.

Mathers is an awful, overrated player, & Aspinwall is very average as well. What's so bad about Hughes? And are there any other utility forwards better than Mike Bennett, or locks better than Chris Charles, or standoffs better than Kevin Brown (James Roby maybe)?

Hughes was lucky to play a handful of games for Widnes last season. He's found his level at NL1.If I had to put a list of all last season's Super League players in an order of how much I wanted each in my squad,Hughes would probably be in the bottom 10.Is Richard Whiting in your squad? If not he could maybe go in instead of Hughes,Charles or Brown(he can play stand-off/lock or centre)

I have a high opinion of Karl Pryce and given a decent go he could be anything with his size and pace
