Also Brown was very solid again and looked close to breaking the line on his kick returns 9 times outa 10, he deserves to hold the fullbacks job ahead of Mc K when he is fit. I well also give Lui credit for a much improved defensive effort, one stage there he put his body on the line to take out Foi foi .. Well done.

Agree 100%, Brown has established himself in front of Mckinnon. I also noticed Lui's hit on Moi Moi, that was gutsy as hell and good to see.

Here is another vote for Brown over Mckinnon.

I thought Brown was the worst of our off season signings but credit to him as he has proved me wrong

Lol the poor bugger felt it as well, it was pretty well a try saver and had to be made, but thats what is required if he wants to make 7 his own.

I still think McKinnon offers more in the fullback role. Brown really should have been given the right wing permanently a while ago.

I honestly think he is better suited to fullback than wing. W Mac is probably better in a lot of areas of fullback but his speed really hampers him offering much in attack and he also looks very weak strength wise compared to what he used to be, thats due to his injury and lack or weight work i guess. Maybe an off season to prepare might see him back near his best.

I'm pretty sure Brown's preferred position is fullback.

Wade McKinnon will definitely be better after a full off season.

I do see the pros of leaving Brown there, however I personally think that the fact that McKinnon always seems to be sniffing for offloads in great positions is what makes him more valuable in the # 1 despite his shortcomings.

That being said, I'm perfectly happy for Brown to keep the jersey for the rest of the year. I think more questions need to be asked about Beau Ryan's position in the team and someone needs to tell Ayshford that it's okay to pass every now and then.

The problem with Mckinnon at the moment is that he does not have the spped or strength at the moment, as others have mentioned, to do anything with any offloads that he receives. Next year with a full off season behind him it may be different but right now I think Brown seems to be the best option.

Great win...packed away ground and 7-0 second half penalty count is good going...can't help noticing how quiet the deathriders (hope they miss the semis etc etc) get whenever Sheens and the team manage to scrape a win..must be out celebrating i guess LOL

stew you f**kers LOLouder

Tigers have the talent, no doubt.... but the guy at the helm can't get the best out of them. According to Fulton he wraps Folkesy more than that farkwit.
