Great performance by both Flegg sides. Souths were up by 2 pts with 4minutes left on the time clock. A half break found Caldwell on the inside to outsprint the defence to the line. A few seconds left on the clock and Wara swooped on a charge down to score.

A very entertaining game highlighted again by outstanding performances by Khmet, Nowland, Caldwell, Wara, Nash and Alberts. Wara amazes with his pace and passing to set up Alberts, and Caldwell the way he underplays his hand until a half chance arises.

It will be interesting if Caldwell can put a bit of pressure on Marshall next year for the number 6 guernsey.

Does anybody know the status of Luke Thompson and the goalkicking centre?

Thomo seems to be out of favour with the club - not sure what happened there but I'm told he is fit just not being selected

Barrow has gone back home and is playing in the bush again

I think part of it was also the club let him go because of his training habits - thats what was said about a month or so ago

If a story needs to be written it is how a rookie of the year player can go from that award to being shown the door. Very sad indeed for such a talented player. The same with Barrow.
