yes, but the OP said "NRL era" which means really since 1998. Most of Lazarus' career was pre-1998. The NRL was formed and its first year was 1998.

Hodges could cover centre, wing and fullback. His attacking ability is too great to ignore. I did consider To'o and should have him in honourable mentions, Tuivasa-Sheck is another.

Hodges was very annoying from dummy-half. So telegraphed that he would run himself but would always beat the first marker and make metres out of the red zone.

He’s the typical scrappy do, the guy who waits until the fight is broken up to start looking like he needs to be held back. I remember Casey Maguire making short work of him.
