My apologies for being misinterpreted. I agree he should be 5/8 - but he should not be excluded from the centre poll.

I think he should... if he is put in the poll, people may vote for him simply because he was one of the best ever... Then, if he wins, he wont be in the 5/8th poll, and that is ludicrous. He captained australia at number 6, and is one of the best of all time, not just for the raiders

I didn't vote no... maybe someone didn't realise Greatest Canberra centre, Mal is just behind Gasnier, Miles at his bst and maybe Cronin but Mal was awesome at his best considering he did his fair share of Goalkicking, kickoff returns open play kicking, offloads tackle breaksetc

I was watching the 89 GF yesterday, and the 94 today, adn Mal was seriously amazing. He would easily cut it in todays game. In the 89 GF, no one could get near him, and in the 94 GF, he took every kickoff return in the first half, and bumps at least one player off every time he touches the ball, and invariably gets an offload in to boot.

What a champion.
