City of God: One of the few candidates I've not seen, but highly regarded.

Reservoir Dogs: Perhaps not as good as Pulp Fiction, but full of Tarantino's trademark wit and brutality. I don't think Steeler's Wheel will ever sound the same again.

Collateral: Reinvented the stagnant career of Tom Cruise. In my eyes, a better film than Heat. A great film full of cat and mouse.

Gandhi: Two I haven't seen in one topic! A biopic about the man of peace.

Big Fish: Tim Burton's whimsical, sentimental tale of love captured many hearts - but I can't see it capturing a place in the next round.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?: Arguably the greatest mix of animation and live action in recorded history, although it doesn't have much competition. A dark comedy that is still popular today.

I declare you a merkin for putting them together.

Decision pending...

Who Framed Roger Rabbit gets my vote. That movie has a lot to answer for ie my obsession with red headed girls.

Didn't like Dogs. Tremendously overrated.

Why any redheaded woman would want to hide her natural beauty is beyond me... I mean no offense to you or your wife.

I think red hair is the most beautiful thing in the world cos it's so rare thanks to all of them being burnt at the stake in medieval times cos they were meant to be witches.

You could put a redhead up against Jennifer Hawkins and ask me to choose and the red wins all the time.

Yep. Freckles are up there as well. Can't have one without the other really.

Best example: Julianne Moore ;-)

Oh and Misanthorpe... any chance of putting "Boogie Nights" in the next poll? :D

Nah, she aint got the freckle look, just enough to be cute. some are over the top for me. . and i think the dye comes from her being paid out on as a child for actually havin the red hair in the first place. Ive never seen her natural head colur hair, only in photo's mate. no shart.

i dont care what color it is actually though was always a blonde man.

she's a fine girl mate.

I've never thought of that, but it would explain a lot. Many an average looking girl has had her stocks raised considerably in my eyes because of having red hair. Just as long as it's not ginger.

As for Boogie Nights, I'll slot it in somewhere.

City of God: I haven't seen this film. I love Patrick movies though.

Reservoir Dogs: I saw it when I was a kid at first. Thought nothing of it at the time. A saw it again in Jan and absolutely loved it. I voted for this movie.

Collateral: No way in the world is this movie better than "Heat". Very enjoyable though.

Gandhi: I saw this after the footy on pay-tv. Not normally my type of movie, but I enjoyed it and learnt a lot at the same time. Kingsley fully deserved his oscar.

Big Fish: Never seen it, but not a Tim Burton fan.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?: I never realised this movie is so highly regarded. I'll have to give it a look.

Three way tie between Gandhi, City of God, and Collateral for that all important second spot. First to get two votes goes through.
