Fight Club: A defining movie in our generation, this misanthropic and bleak look at society and masculinity was slick, stylish, and witty,

Spirited Away: Animation hasn't fared too well in polling, but this visually stunning flick manages to endear viewers and entertain despite the obvious cultural gaps it has to overcome.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: Arguably the greatest in the Indiana Jones saga, the introduction of Indy's father and the non stop action make this a favourite.

The Graduate: An absolute classic. Some of Hoffman's finest work.

Infernal Affairs: The movie that inspired The Departed, this was a slick and entertaining Hong Kong thriller that rarely gets the credit it deserves.

Fight Club, just over Infernal Affairs.

The unnecessary sequels soured my memory of the original classic.

Fight Club: I switched this off after about 30 minutes. I'll try and watch it again sometime, but was not impressed.

Spirited Away: Never seen it.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: I liked this movie, but it is nothing more than entertaining. I voted for this.

The Graduate: Never seen it.

Infernal Affairs: I want to see this one.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - as I liked it and I haven't seen in full any of the others on that list.

Spirited Away and the Graduate. Two of my most favourite films. But can't be anything but Spirited Away, it's such a beautiful film, evocative on so many levels. I've watched it plenty of times and it just leaves me stunned every time.

Elyod138, what would you say is Miyazaki's best film?

I like both Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke more.

I still love Spirited Away though.

Fight Club easily gets this. Every other movie is just a story compared to Chuck Ps take on the malaise of modern life.
