Oh well, each to their own.

It was actually in it's own right a trilogy. like the dirty harry movies were to themselves as a set. good, Bad and still ugly though. ;-)

I cant believe THE STING is scorin so low though, it is a young forum I suppose though. I own that movie too, and its very, very good. A tough set this one as Scarface rocks also, and has by far the BEST lead actor of all in the set . :-k :-k

Yes but Good, Bad & Ugly has by far the best cast. As a whole.

Eastwood is Eastwood.

Lee van Cleef was awesome. Very evil and unnerving.

And Eli Wallach made Tuco into one of the most memorable characters of all-time. One of my favourite performances ever.

Bottom line is G, B & U is one of the few truely unique movie going experiences of all-time. It's Sergio Leone at his absolute best. The close-ups, the gritty look, the famous scenes like the Tuco at the cemetery scene played to Ecstasy of Gold.

If i had to reccommend 10 movies to someone to show the magic of movies, this would be one of the first chosen.

100% agree. The epitome of the perfect western.
