One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest: Arguably Nicholson's finest work. This bittersweet tale of rebellion is one of my personal all time favourites.

Hotel Rwanda: A gripping depiction of events in Rwanda in which one hotel manager risked his own life to protect people from the war that tore his country apart.

Shrek: One of the most stylish, widely accessible animated movies of our time. Equally amusing to adults and children.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: A visually stunning martial arts epic.

Spartacus: The precursor to the likes of Gladiator, 300, and Braveheart - this swords and sandals epic remains poignant even to this day.

The Nightmare Before Christmas: Tim Burton's revolutionary stop motion masterpiece, the delightfully dark Christmas tale warms hearts and stirs nightmares.

Not the strongest group; still some great movies in it though.

But i reckon One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is definately the cream of the crop. I've rarely, if ever, felt as angry and emotional during a movie as i did during the final scene...after what they did to McMurphy and Chiefs response.

Not only was it arguably Nicholson's greatest performance but it also contained career best performances from the likes of Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd. It was full of memorable characters.

Also Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratchet played one of the great villains of all-time...which is a testament to her considering she didnt go around on killing sprees with weapons like your typical villain. She did it instead with a subtle, callous stare which made you want to smash her face in!

A worthy top ten movie on anyone's list.

" You made allusions about me. Not illusions, A ! llusions... "

" I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, I can't seem to get that through to you. I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content. I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Hell, Heaven. Do you understand... FINALLY? "

Haha ! The session where Harding & Chrisopher Llyods character are bickering is f*cking hilarious.

crouching tiger hidden dragon? if you're going to include martial arts movies atleast put good ones like five deadly venoms, 36th chamber of shaolin, shaolin vs wu-tang or the mystery of chessboxing ... not a very good group imo

That's the danger of relying on a largely Western site to provide me with seeding. Not many martial arts movies made the cut at all.
