what is your favourite wrestling moment ever?
when i look back through the years of wrestling for me nothing beats when Macho Man fought Ultimate Warrior at wrestlemania 7. Not only was it an unbelievable match , it had an amazing fairytale at the end when Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth reunited.

Mankinds first title win just all the emotion and the crowd were superb.
Austin defeats HBK @ WM14-was a start of a whole new era
Original Formation of the nWo-Was the best angle ever written IMO
Benoit vs. B Hart Nitro Match 99-Was just a great match quite possibly one of the best.

I can't single it down to a single Austin moment but during 1998 and 1999 there was about 200 classic Austin moments.

IMO it certainly was the greatest two years in wrestling history.

But to single it down to a single moement it would be...

Bret Hart vs Stone Cold at WM13. The final 3 minutes of that match (were Austin clearly uses a razor blade to split his head open) is etched in WM history. Austin locked in a sharpshooter while bleeding profusely just refuses to give up, his face retched in pain. Has he try's to break the hold you can see the blood trickle out of his gash as he yells in pain. He passes out from the pain after a good 3 minutes in the hold.

It's what set him down the road of stardom.

Might interest some of you to see that they're listing the 'Top 50 PPV matches since 2000' over at www.rajah.com

There's some real corkers in there.

As for me, I've had a lot of moments I've loved. Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania was a buzz. I know brandell love's the aforementioned Randy Savage/Ultimate Warrior match. Also loved Kurt Angle riding out on his milk truck, and so many electric Stone Cold and Rock moments.

when hogan turned heel and the nwo began to dominate. that changed the wrestling business.

austin's and foley's first title wins have to be up there as well.

another one has to be hogan vs andre in front of 93,000 people at wm 3.

Hogan V Rock at WM was pretty special. i started out watching WCW so most of my memories pre 1999 are with that company. I was a MASSIVE Wolf Pac fan so Nash defeating Goldberg and when Scott Hall FINALLY quit NWO hollywood and partnered his life time friend Nash in the Wolf Pac. Ofcourse that same night the merger of Black n white and black n red took place so it turned out to be for nothing.

First time I seen Sting come out in 97, come out from the bottom of the ring grabbed eric bischoff and Scorpion death dropped him, I thought this bloke is a weapon.

* The birth of the New World Order, redefined wrestling, was really its own brand
* Hulk Hogan v Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan v Andre the Giant and scoop slamming him
* Sting joining the Wolfpac
* Lex Luger racking the entire nWo in 97 I believe in a WCW v nWo v Team Piper main event, Luger was against 3 or 4 of them, racked the whole lot of them, had the last one tapping until the nWo interfered
* Sting turning up to sign the contract v Hulk Hogan
* Ultimate Warrior reappearing in WCW (I know it sucked major *** in the end, but all the Warrior marks loved it)
* Sting v Hulk Hogan and the WCW locker room clearing rank to celebrate with him
* Bret Hart v Chris Benoit in WCW, awesome match
* Sting reappearing from the rafters with the chilling vulture stuff, and the little kid voiceover "This... is..... Sting"

Meh, I loved Sting v Hogan. That for me was the primetime of pro wrestling of the past 10 years. Personally I'm into big time technical wrestling, but for some reason the Hulkamaniac juices run wild still, I'm a big mark for the old school wrastlers from the old days like Hogan, Sting, Bret "Hitman" Hart, Macho Man Randy Savage - that was an awesome era of showmanship and charisma, amazing characters in a real fairy tale atmosphere. Then I reckon they kind of ruined it with the "this is just sports entertainment" cr@p, admitting it was all phoney, and playing up to it. Pffft, we knew it was phoney, but it was fun and an escape.

NWO. Everything about it was great

I loved when Sting came out from the rafters one nitro and death dropped a few NWO members and they cut the show right at the tease point....

Even the Nitro when the NWO were fighting Luger/DDP and Sting came down along with Raven who started to jump the fence after Macho Man spat at him. It was great moments like these that I miss with wrestling

Believe it or not but the WWE needs a genuine competitor. Without it their product smells

Other great moments include:

- RVD v Jerry Lynn at N2R '99
- Luger at WWIII in 1996 racking everyone
- Raven/Dreamer vs the Pitbulls in 1995
- The night when Nash beat Goldberg
- Jericho in WCW was comedic gold

Cheers,
Moffo
