Whats a Chachi? ;-)

Far out. Reptar, Legend, TR, Dubby, Greeneyed was here for a while how many more are coming? Seriously we'll all have to meet up for a Raiders game at Legends place. (Or at TRs and watch it on his 60 inch plasma....and thats his small TV)

I'll have to contact Donny and tell him to bring a Raiders home game to Quad Park after its redeveloped....we'll sell it out just with LU fans. BTW Legend, you are about 5 mins from Quad Park. Lets go throw eggs at Manly players.

Thank God for the Wikipedia - it knows almost all. Certainly told me what I needed to know about the name Chachi. I always thought it was some made up name by the LU Chachi being short for Cha-Ching (i.e. the sound effect).

Is that because its near the Castlemain factory?
Is it? I'll be living in the city, which is plenty close enough for walking to Lang Park for me.

No, that's my big TV. The small TV is the one in the pool house. :D

I know a chap here, by the way, who was quite involved with the game. He converted one of the living areas in his home to a huge home theatre with cinema seats (bricked up the windows, put in a sloping floor etc). He watches every game there....you have to see it to believe it.

Any QLD based GHer who fancies a game at the Noosa Estates is more than welcome, by the way.

Offer accepted! :D

Dont let matt come if he moves to Gympie. Actually, he'll be ok until he grows his second head!

Dont be coy bay, I know you are one of the wealthies men in here. You voted Liberal! ;-)

Social point, Dubs: Genuinely wealthy people never, EVER, vote Liberal. Instead, they gather in small 'action' groups worrying about the plight of refugees and whales. If they feel all picked on, they vote Labor. At their bolshiest, they go for obscure indpendents or Greens.

BBQ at my house game day.

Not wealthy in spelling talent, unfortunately. No spelling errors in here, but there are some blatand errors that you simply can't put down as a typo.

I think you have mistaken my view of wealthy.

The group you have described sound like a bunch of Generation X socially concious university educated political do-gooders who usually shop at Maleny and work in IT or environmental sciences who only vote Green because they approve of their alternate views and its not cool to vote for a major party run by men over the age of 50. They earn usually 60-70k per year and save alot because to drive a car or use unrecycled goods is like burning your mum at the stake. Worse, actually. Its like hurting a tree.

As for Gympie, I'm sure you meant its 9AM ;-) and I agree; Maryborough is quite weird. I worked with a guy from there and he was very strange. I think he was a Tigers supporter too.

I think you've mistaken MY view.

Dubby, Dubby, Dubby. 60 or 70k is what these people pay their gardeners.

I'm talking the Sunshine Beach crowd, the one's who agonise over whether the norwegian slate that they've just covered the front patio plunge pool area with may have been polished by underpaid third world labour while they sip their rat-sh*t Indonesian coffee bean lattes and slip edomame cookies to their immaculately mongrelised puppies under the table.

These people are the ones that find the Maleny shopping IT mob frightfully gauche.

TR, you are DEFINATELY a Noosa boy. I am waaaayy out of your league here.

We dont get those types in Buderim. Our guys complain about the traffic and how bad a job the auto detailing guy did and how his detergents didnt biodegrade after 6 months. Go to Sippy Downs and check THEM out.

Buderim: Gympie By The Sea

I'd like to point out that I am no longer a Noosa boy. I've moved deep into the Doonan countryside.

:x

You take that back!

Buderim is a wonderful place!

Doonan hey. TR, I envy you. I'm gonna bring my sorry butt to your house for a game one day, just you see. As long as there are no Gympie/Wide Bay people around. ANd of course, if they let Buderim residents into Doonan.
