Brandy is a great of the game and I really enjoy listening to him and Waz. They create a better spectacle than any other commentary team in my opinion.

As for his remarks about the Dragons, I haven't noticed. Like anything though, if you're looking for a reason to be offended, you'll find it somewhere.

Ummmm yeah. What this guy said.
There's a lot of 'seeing what you want to see' in this thread.

W Smith is a brainless fool, his mindless monotone ramblings are mind numbing.Cant understand why Foxsport would keep him employed.

YES. The same inflection, over and over. I can't understand it either. I can't listen to him. I don't know how anyone can. I won't listen to him.

Yes that was also one of my favourites . The day that they changed the design of the St.George insignia , was a bit of a letdown for me . I loved the old St.George with the dragon emblem , with that huge red V running all the way down the jersey .

I do like the older Badge but also don't mind the more modern one with the black outline.
Thought l'd create a thread on the Red V with a selection of jerseys. ( see new thread )

I know he doesn't get much love and I don't think he is a very good TV personality, but Freddie has openly said that the Dragons are his favourite team this year so far based on the style of game they have developed.
Freddy isn't much, but there is love out there for us. Matty Johns and Fletch like us, Mick Ennis loves JDB, Lara Pitt obviously and Rabs loves Gypsy.

It is just annoying that the people calling the games seem to be bias against us.

Normally I don't have admiration for any non Dragons associated individual, but Fittler was one player who I wished had played for the club. Saints would've won a premiership much earlier if he had been at the helm in the mid to late 90s.

I always respected Greg Florimo from the Bear, and a few from Balmain in the late 80s.

nothing anybody says will change my mind, but I hate Gould when the Dragons are playing, his hate for the dragons makes me sick and if he is commentating a Dragons game I turn the volume completely down,

It has always amazed me that Gould was supposedly a Dragons fan ( always going to Kogarah Oval as a youngster and watching the team with the big red V ) ......... yet somewhere along the line, he switched?

Can someone correct / enlighten me as to how, when & why this come about?
Thanks in advance.

I think when you are getting paid very well to beat your opposition on regular basis, it is quite easy to switch camps, think about it, he coached the Dogs to Premiership glory, Panther to Premiership glory and he got close with the rorters, many years of finding a way to beat the team with the Big Red V!

And still one of my fondest memories is jumping up & down like a lunatic when we beat the Roosters in 99 at the SFS with Craig Smith resembling a bulldozer as he cut their pack to pieces. We played the Sharks the next week. I forget what happened after that.......

I'd argue he still is a Dragons fan. I mean the only people who give the Club as much or more stick are...well...us!

Seriously though, Gus knows footy and the footy business better than the mob who have ruled us. I think his comments are his way of calling bull$hit on how bad things have been (especially recently).

Sorry to butt in here,
I think, but am not sure, that Gould turned when Brownie was let go as coach.
Gould was the one who recommended Brown to your CEO.

The guy is a tool. The thing about him that really grinds my gears is the way he so often finishes sentences with "but". If you only speak one language you should be half reasonable at it, he's not but.

I don't have a problem with Alexander - anything negative he or anyone else has said about this team since 2012 up until this years Charity Shield is well deserved.

Having said that, geez Fox Sports are staring to trot out some imbeciles in their coverage. Justin Hodges and Corey Parker in particular - both new and seem to get a job just because they've played football and would give Benny Elias a run for the title of worst gibberer ever to hold a microphone up at an NRL game. From a very long list of retired players, you'd think they could find smarter people.

Imagine the day when the monosyllabic Greg Inglis gets a gig on the TV just because he was a good footballer....

Im devouting a thread to him.
The size of wanker that he is, he deserves his own thread.
I cant recall the last time i watched a game and didnt yell out "shut the F#ck up you f#cking wanker" when he speaks.
He hates the dragons with a passion.
He isnt ashamed to let it be known either judging by his biased commentary.
And why can't he hate our team?
Seems to me you might be the bigger wanker.

Have a think about what his position is... what his job description is... and then you'll realise the real wanker is you for posting that post.
